Part-Time Remote Licensed Insurance Producer
State Farm Experience Required | Evenings & Weekends | Fully Remote
ABOUT OUR AGENCY
Beth Moloughney State Farm Agency brings more than 40 years of State Farm experience and has built a strong reputation for serving individuals and families throughout Northeastern Pennsylvania.
We believe a successful agency starts with a strong team. We emphasize professional development, recognize high performance, and foster a collaborative and supportive team environment. We are also proud to give back to our community through local sports sponsorships, scholarship programs for graduating seniors in the Pocono Mountain School District, as well as support of the district’s Students Against Destructive Decisions (SADD) chapter.
We are currently seeking an experienced, licensed insurance professional with prior State Farm experience to join our team in a part-time, fully remote producer role focused on evening and weekend availability.
This opportunity may be an excellent fit for an experienced insurance professional looking to supplement their current schedule while continuing to put their State Farm knowledge and sales experience to work.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
As a Part-Time Licensed Insurance Producer, you will focus on helping prospective and existing customers identify insurance solutions that meet their needs while contributing to the agency’s growth and production goals.
Because this is a remote position with evening and weekend hours, we are looking for someone who can work independently, communicate effectively with customers, and confidently navigate the State Farm environment with limited supervision.
The ideal candidate already understands State Farm products, systems, sales processes, and customer expectations and can quickly transition into a production-focused role.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Engage with warm and cold leads to identify insurance needs and sales opportunities.
- Quote, explain, and sell appropriate insurance products and coverages.
- Follow up with prospective customers to convert opportunities into new business.
- Conduct needs-based conversations and make appropriate product recommendations.
- Cross-sell and identify additional opportunities within existing customer households.
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow-up activities within agency systems.
- Meet established sales activity, production, and customer experience expectations.
- Provide professional and responsive service during evening and weekend hours.
- Work independently in a fully remote environment while remaining connected and accountable to the agency team.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Active Pennsylvania Property & Casualty and Life & Health insurance license required. (Or ability to obtain Non-Resident Producer License)
- Prior State Farm agency experience required.
- Familiarity with State Farm systems, products, quoting, and sales processes strongly preferred.
- Previous insurance sales or production experience.
- Proven ability and willingness to engage in outbound sales conversations.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Goal-oriented, self-motivated, and comfortable working toward measurable production expectations.
- Ability to work independently and effectively in a remote environment.
- Reliable availability during agreed-upon evening and weekend hours.
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills.
WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR
This role is best suited for an experienced insurance professional who enjoys selling, understands the State Farm environment, and is looking for a flexible opportunity outside of traditional business hours.
